NITL has long been strongly associated with the Logistics Research Network (LRN). The LRN Annual Conference 2009 is being held in Cardiff, the Capital City of Wales. The conference will be hosted by the Cardiff Business School from the 9th – 11th September, 2009. Papers are invited from academics, researchers and practitioners working in logistics, transportation and supply-chain management. The conference provides a forum for networking and to present and discuss contemporary issues and developments in the field. Theoretical or practical contributions on any topic related to the above will be considered but those papers that conform to the conference theme of Volatile and Fragile Supply Chains will be particularly welcome.
