Modern Information Technology in the Innovation Processes of the Industrial Enterprises Conference, Oct 2009

Edward Sweeney has been invited by Professor Alessandro Perego of Politecnico di Milano to join the Scientific Committee for the 2009 conference on Modern Information Technology in the Innovation Processes of the Industrial Enterprises (MITIP 2009). The conference will be held in Bergamo in October.

The purpose of this conference, which is now in its 11th year, is to serve as a forum for the dissemination of ideas, knowledge and experiences about the ICT-driven innovation in industrial products, processes and services. The conference is targeted to scholars and practitioners involved in research activities focusing on the role of ICT in modern industrial enterprises. For several years, MITIP has proven to be an important forum for researchers from academia and industry to present the results of their work, inspiring a creative dialogue among participants. As a basic principle, the conference topics are both of theoretical and practical pertinence.

The conference will have papers on a variety of topics, including:
