Another groups of graduates from NITL’s M.Sc. programmes collected their parchments at the DIT ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Saturday November 13th. This year’s graduates include supply chain and logistics professionals from Murgraves, Diageo, AIB, the Armed Forces and Logitech, as well as several graduates from NITL’s full-time M.Sc. programme. NITL was represented at the event by module leaders Mr. Gerry Glynn and Dr. Daniel Park.
NITL also offers its congratulations to Dr. Paul Davis (pictured below) who was awarded his Ph.D. at Saturday’s ceremony. Paul is now based at Dublin City University (DCU) and is a Council member of the Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (IIPMM). His Doctoral research focused on the impact of technology on procurement processes.
As succinctly put by Dr. Mike Murphy, Dean and Director of DIT’s College of Engineering and Built Environment: “In many ways our graduation events are the high point of the academic year. They represent why we are all here in the first place – to successfully educate young professionals.” NITL congratulates all its newly conferred supply chain professionals and wishes them well in their future careers.
