Following the largest ever annual intake into its M.Sc. programmes during 2011, NITL last week welcomed the second new cohort of 2012 to the Executive Masters programme in supply chain management (SCM). The new participants are supply chain professionals in a range of Irish and multinational organisations including Diageo, Coca-Cola, Glanbia, the Irish Defence Forces, Tesco and Mylan.

The programme commenced with a running of the Introduction to SCM module. This module provides an overview of both the strategic and operational dimensions of SCM and sets the scene for the remainder of the programme. The majority of participants have been away from formal education for several years so NITL uses this introductory module to kick-start the learning process. The module was very well received with participants particularly commending its logical structure, the clarity of the presentations and the use of group-based work.
NITL wishes the new participants well as they embark on an exciting learning journey.
